Community Guidelines

DreamWhin exists to inspire action, support dreams, and build meaningful connections.

These Community Guidelines help keep DreamWhin respectful, safe, honest, and supportive for everyone.

DreamWhin is intended for members who are 18 years of age or older.

Be Respectful

Treat other members with kindness, empathy, and professionalism.

Disagreements are allowed, but harassment, intimidation, bullying, stalking, threats, or abusive behavior are not.

Be Honest

Represent your dreams, goals, projects, identity, circumstances, and support needs accurately.

​

Do not intentionally mislead other users, exaggerate circumstances, impersonate another person or organization, or provide false information in order to receive support.

​

Only post dreams that you are authorized to share and represent.

​

Be Supportive

DreamWhin is designed to help people connect around dreams.

Members are encouraged to provide positive forms of support, including:

• Encouragement

• Awareness

• Mentorship

• Volunteering

• Skills

• Resources

• Connections

• Opportunities

Do not intentionally humiliate, exploit, manipulate, threaten, or discourage other members.

​

Be Responsible for What You Share

Only post content that you have the right to use.

This includes:

• Photographs

• Videos

• Written material

• Logos

• Artwork

• Graphics

• Other intellectual property

​

You are responsible for content you submit through your profile, dreams, messages, and other DreamWhin features.

Do not post content that infringes another person's rights or privacy.

​

If content includes a minor, you are responsible for ensuring that you have any permission or authority required to share that content.

​

Keep Content Appropriate

DreamWhin does not allow content or activity involving:

• Hate speech or discriminatory abuse

• Harassment, bullying, stalking, or threats

• Explicit sexual content

• Content that sexualizes or exploits minors

• Graphic or inappropriate violent content

• Content that encourages or promotes self-harm

• Fraudulent or deceptive requests

• Intentionally misleading information

• Impersonation

• Spam or excessive unsolicited promotion

• Attempts to manipulate funding, payments, or payouts

• Illegal activity

• Malicious links

• Scams

• Attempts to obtain another person's login credentials, passwords, security codes, banking information, or other sensitive information

DreamWhin may remove content that violates these Guidelines or otherwise creates a meaningful safety, fraud, legal, or platform-integrity concern.

Messaging & Communication

DreamWhin members may communicate through platform messaging and contact features.

​

Messages should remain respectful and relate to legitimate DreamWhin interactions.

​

Do not use DreamWhin messaging to:

• Harass another user

• Repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop

• Send spam or scams

• Request passwords or security codes

• Pressure someone into providing money

• Pressure someone into sharing personal or financial information

• Send threatening, abusive, or deceptive messages

Members should use reasonable caution when communicating with people they do not know personally.

​

Protect Privacy

Respect both your own privacy and the privacy of others.

​

Do not publicly post highly sensitive information such as:

• Passwords

• Social Security numbers

• Banking credentials

• Full payment-card information

• Security or verification codes

• Other information that could put you or another person at risk

Do not publish another person's private or sensitive information without permission.

​

If Stripe requests identity, banking, or payout information, enter that information only through Stripe's secure pages.

​

Financial Support

Financial support provided through DreamWhin must be used honestly and responsibly.

​

Dream creators must accurately represent their dream and funding needs.

​

DreamWhin does not allow:

• Fraudulent dreams requesting funding

• Misrepresentation of funding needs

• Attempts to manipulate transactions

• Misuse of payment or payout systems

• Attempts to circumvent DreamWhin's funding or payout rules

​

Financial activity is also subject to DreamWhin's Funding & Payout Policy.

​

Violations involving funding or payments may result in a funding pause, payout restriction, content removal, account suspension, or other appropriate action.

​

Report Concerns

If you encounter suspicious activity, harassment, fraud, inappropriate content, or another possible violation of these Guidelines, please report the concern to DreamWhin.

When possible, include the name or link of the dream or member involved and a short description of what happened.

Reports may be reviewed before action is taken.

​

Please do not send passwords, complete banking information, or other highly sensitive credentials when making a report.

​

Enforcement

DreamWhin may review content, messages, dreams, accounts, transactions, or platform activity when reasonably necessary to investigate possible violations.

​

Depending on the circumstances, DreamWhin may:

• Remove or restrict content

• Restrict access to certain features

• Pause funding or payouts

• Request additional information

• Suspend an account

• Terminate access to the platform

• Take other reasonable steps to protect members or DreamWhin

​

Actions may be taken to:

• Protect users

• Prevent fraud or abuse

• Enforce DreamWhin policies

• Protect payment activity

• Maintain platform security

• Comply with legal requirements

​

DreamWhin is not obligated to monitor every message, dream, account, or interaction.

If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may contact DreamWhin and request that the matter be reviewed.
